“The most intriguing question of last weekend’s Yahoo-sponsored Republican presidential debate was submitted from one of the website’s users. ‘Let’s all stipulate,’ that everyone is against illegal immigration and wants to secure our borders, anchor Diane Sawyer read from her screen. But, what actually animates the candidates feelings about immigrants and a nation that once welcomed them? The candidates ignored the request and dutifully reiterated their opposition to illegal border crossings.”
